Originally built in 1879 this beautiful 29 bedroomed Victorian property was formerly used as a private residential dwelling before being transformed into the Grosvenor Hotel in 1990.

Ever since becoming the owners in September 2008 Paul, Lindsey and their team have made huge changes to the hotel as they continually strive to improve the quality and comforts of your stay – something that is as important to them now as it did on the day that they took over.

Currently operating on a bed and breakfast basis, a full locally sourced and freshly cooked breakfast is included in your overnight price. We now also offer a varied evening bar menu six days a week (not Sundays) if the lure of the many high quality restaurants within close walking distance can’t tempt you out!

Our guest lounge hosts a large flat screen TV as well as a fully stocked licensed bar and a selection of freshly ground coffees. We have also recently opened a small Sky Sports lounge so you don’t miss that vital game while you’re away! Business quality WiFi providing free unlimited wireless broadband internet is available for all guests with excellent coverage throughout all guest rooms and communal areas.

Being situated on the Plymouth Hoe, just 50 yards from the stunning views of the Plymouth Sound and less than 200 yards from the modern and bustling city centre, the Grosvenor Plymouth is the perfect residence for a wide variety of visitors. Whether for work, study, a holiday, visiting family or simply a well earned break, the personal touch and comforts of the hotel will certainly ensure an enjoyable stay.
